le AkH Prevent

Asalam alikom brothers.  I kid, I kid.

So... I'm AkH prevent!  I was invite by Air Assault and I'm finally gettin around to my intro.  

Games-wise Insurgency has been my top game for awhile now... I think I'm nearing 800 hours or so.  Before Insurgency I jumped around from CoD to CoD since AA2 was disbanded.  I think I probably would have had 1500 or 2000 hours in America's Army 2.  AA3 and espicially AAPG weren't to my liking so I had no single game that I really got into... until I played Insurgency.  That game's awesome.

Other than Insurgency, I'm into web development stuff.  I shortened my name from preventDefault to prevent so it would fit in CoD without being chopped off, and just kinda kept it.  I was struggling to learn jQuery for awhile, doing tutorials, etc. until one day it finally clicked when I figured out what the preventDefualt command did, then everything fell into place.  So I used that as my name for awhile before I shortened it down.

That's not what I do for a living though, I mainly stick to landscaping.  Last year or so I was unhappy with my lawn so I tore it up completely and laid down different seed, and it looks really badass.

Other than that I'm sorta obsess with my FJ Cruiser.  They are basically the Toyota equivalent of the Jeep Wrangler.  I spent tons of money on it getting stuff like a lift kit, rims, offroad tires, headers, tuning chip, etc.


So I guess that's about it.

Oh and about my Steam profile and stuff, no that isn't me in the picture and I'm not really Palestinian.  My clan and I just kinda get into roleplaying in Insurgency.  I like to think of us as the equal opposite of those realism clans that like to use Army ranks and tacticool comm chatter in games.  One day we should play against one of those clans and agree to only use in-game comms so we can hear eachother... it'll be great fun I think.



Oh and this is my gaming rig that I built.  Not all at once, I pieced things on as time progressed, but this is the current specs:

I want to do a custom water cooling loop so I can cool my GPU's and my mobo along with my CPU, but I never did that before.  And my case is kinda small to be fitting that sorta stuff in it... other people have done it but they were more experienced.  If I do it though, I wanna use those hard acrylic tubes instead of the soft bendy ones.  Harder to do, but looks way better.  This is what someone else did with theirs that I really like... but no way mine would turn out like this...



But I can dream!  One day mayhaps.
