Insaniac gaming on FIFA

I have noticed that we are not offering anything for one of the biggest games out there, FIFA! I'll keep this short and sweet but I was thinking that we could maybe help people find people to play pro clubs with. We will start small and have people going in between clubs if people are not online until we have around 50+ players so that we can set up 7-8 clubs so that people will have a team to play with all the time. Also I thought that, although it would be less popular, we could host small events such as tournaments and the winner could earn something like an advantage in another game or something small like that, as long as it stays within the community. Let me know what you think and if you would be willing to take part either as a hoster or a player. If this gets a good enough response then I will open up a club on Xbox and advertise it to find even more players to join our amazing community. Now I know I said I would keep this short but I appear to have got carried away so I will finish by wishing you all a merry Christmas.

Hey Weary, I don't personally play FIFA, however I think this is a great idea. This would broaden our game library that we cater to; in order to attract more and new people. It would also promote and encourage others to participate in events involving more than just one game. I really like the idea of a reward for another game/server we host. I mentioned/proposed a similar idea to IG staff about a week ago, in the suggestions/idea post that airassault54 posted. It's a great idea and pretty simple to implement and incorporate, and would act as a link between games and different groups (within our community). We would just have to be sure it wasn't a game breaking advantage, which wouldn't be too hard to carry out or moderate.

I mean the most difficult thing would be is to get a reward but it would have to be different depending on what game they play so If they play minecraft it could be some armour or if they play battlefield then maybe it is a gun but thinking of a few ideas for each game we cater to could really benefit us and give people some more excitement when playing in these tournaments.

I completely agree. I think that if this isn't something IG is already considering, than we should definitely bring it to the table; when he gets back on the 28th.

I have made a club on Xbox so when I customise it and promote it, I will get a ballpark number for how many players would be interested. If I manage to get 20 players ,which is my goal, I will take it straight to IG but that may be a few days. I'll check back in later and see if any new players have messaged me/joined the club.

Hmm, wouldn't have thought of that. That is quite a simple way to test waters and lay a foundation. Nice work Weary, I hope it works out for you and our community.

Well usually the way I go about it is just post in the chats of other clubs and talk to other players about our community. It's worked with minecraft as I've managed to get at least 5 players sign up in recent days so maybe FIFA could do the same for us. Although I would probably need another player to host if these start to boom. I will keep updating in the thread.

Hmm, going into new games/avenues with more than one host definitely helps and would help make things less stressful. However, I'm not sure/don't know of anyone (at this time) in our community that plays FIFA. I imagine there would have to be some people though.

If i must, i will ask around in the clubs on Xbox. I am sure I can find some people. After all there is at least 20,000 people in some of the bigger clubs

It is a better idea to have one club. With you as the leader and running fifa in general. There is no need to make multiple clubs.

Same thing with minecraft. Multiple Clubs= Confusion

Everybody in the Minecraft War of the Kingdoms club should just be combined into Insaniac Gaming Club and disbanded. You can still do everything you can in one club as you could another.

We want to show people the true amount of people who have for each game.
So please do not make anymore then 1 club per game.

On a sidenote you can only personally run 3 clubs at a time. It wont allow to do 7-8 clubs because thats not how clubs were intended.

My best suggestion is to go check out some forums for FIFA and make a post. Same way i recruited you from the minecraftforum. Do the same thing for fifa. Make it appealing and you will get a bunch of people. We want to make sure all of the people in the community no matter what game they do... that they are active on the website and become apart of this community.

Hmm, good information to have and know. I wasn't aware of the club limit. Makes sense though. A club is like a community within our community. Not only would having multiple communities be confusing, unnecessary and overwhelming; but it would also, as you said, divide up our members of a particular game. I agree with disbanding the other Minecraft club, and only having the one. I also wish you the best luck Weary. I'm in the same boat as IG. Not a fan of sport games nor do I own any. But anything I can do to help, outside of that, just let me know.
