Hey Airassault,if you read this, in future life rps, I might continue doing more car dealer stuff, and since I was for a little while having trouble finding reasonable prices, I decided to come up with a system and I'm asking if this would work. So I'm just gonna paste something that I was writing down for a while in a notepad below:
Job: Car Dealer
Prices: (Not selling upgraded vehicles, gotta go to the mechanics if you want those upgrades)
Standard Stock: $10k (Sedans, Minivans, compacts, coupes, etc)
Muscle: $20k
Sports: $75k
Classic: $100k (Such as Z-Type, and I'm pricing these high, despite these cars aren't that great anyways, is that these are supposed to be rare cars, harder to get hands on)
Lower-End Supers: $125k (Lower-End Supers are cars like the Vacca, or other supers that are just far inferior to the best ones, like the t20)
High-End Supers: $175k
Special: $200k (Special Vehicles are vehicles like the armored Kuruma, Insurgent, etc)
Just so I have reason to spend money, instead of just having a seemingly endless stock of cars and making pure profit, I want a system where I can order cars from the supplier to import for me. I pay the supplier 25% of the price, rounded up to the nearest thousand for each car, so I pay him:
$3,000 for each Standard
$5,000 for each Muscle
$19,000 for each Sports
$25,000 for each Classic
$38,000 for each Super (Both low and High-End, since I'm just going to assume some people probably won't be buying low-ends, these supplies of cars are just going to count as any one car of that category, nothing specific, so I took $150k to serve as the even ground between low and high, and took 25% to give supplier profit)
$50,000 for each Special (Supplier can demand higher pay, since cars like a armored kuruma or other cars could be a bit of a hassle to safely get hands on, and deliver without the cops interrupting)
At start of RP session, I would probably start off with a stock of like 5 standard, 3 muscles, and 1 sports, and would ask the supplier to deliver certain stock each night if I need to, let's say for example, it's starting to get to a point where people are going to start wanting to buy sports cars, so I have to buy stock for sports cars that night so they could buy them, if I don't, well I won't make profit, and they can't get the cars they want.
