PostSubject: Vehicles, Watercraft and Aircraft   Vehicles, Watercraft and Aircraft EmptySat Oct 29, 2016 2:13 am

Vehicles without license plates-
Players may own and drive vehicles that do not have a physical license plate on their vehicle. However, players must register the vehicle in the DMV and must pretend that those vehicles DO have a license plate. License plate numbers/letters must be made up and placed within the DMV vehicle registration.

VEHICLE FINANCING AND PRICES

Players will be able to finance a vehicle they want to drive. You will need to go to a car lot and talk to a car salesman or an admin.
Players will need to put a 20% down payment of the vehicle and then pay the rest over a term of weeks. The length of the loan can be 12 weeks, 24 weeks, or 36 weeks.
The car I want cost $72,000. I need to put 20% of the original cost down as a down payment which is $14,400. If the length of the loan is 36 weeks then need to pay $1,600 a roleplay as a payment until the vehicle is completely paid off.

OWNING AIRCRAFT

In order to successfully own a plane or a helicopter in rp, you must own your own airfield/airport in order to store planes and/or helicopters if helipads are available. Helicopters can also be stored or placed on helipads that belong to certain buildings/businesses if owned. If a player does not own said requirements, they must then pay rent to places that can store aircraft vehicles.

Places such as McKenzie Airfield, Sandy Airfield, and Los Santos International Airport can store planes due to their hangers.
Places such as Sandy Airfield, Los Santos International Airport, and Vespucci Helipad have available helipads for rent.

Hanger Rentals
McKenzie Airfield- $5,000/wk
Sandy Airfield- $15,000/wk
Los Santos International Airport- $100,000/wk

Helipad Rentals
Vespucci Helipads- $50,000/wk
Sandy Airfield- $15,000/wk
Los Santos International Airport- $100,000/wk

*Note: Failure to pay weekly rent will accumulate the expense over time and after 5 weeks(5 rps), the aircraft vehicle will be confiscated and taken to the police. If you do not attend rp and collect income from businesses, then you must pay the rent expenses.

Airplane Tickets

Vacation:

If your character wishes to go on vacation they may purchase a plane ticket by going to the LS International Airport.
Tickets cost: $1,000 if staying in the U.S. or $5,000 if going out of the country.
After buying ticket, you can act out leaving on a plane and then you must leave session.
You may be on vacation/fugitive for an unlimited amount of time. Business owners can collect up to five RP's of income. If gone longer than 10 consecutive RP's, rule still applies and you will lose any and all business/es. Characters can only purchase tickets if they are “safe” meaning they have no hits, warrants, or actively running from the law, threat, and/or bounty.

Roleplayer Vacation:

Roleplayer vacation is another type of vacation that is useful for if a roleplayer is not going to be able to make it to RP for a while due to problems in real life, but wishes to maintain their businesses. This can only be done ONCE every three real time months, and it only lasts for a month. After the month is up, if the roleplayer has not returned, their businesses will be lost. Also, the roleplayer may play as an NPC during their character's time of vacation. This is useful for if the roleplayer is able to make it back for a roleplay or two, but does not wish to take their character out of vacation because the roleplayer is still going to be busy. The NPC will NOT be able to do criminal activities and the occupation/role of the NPC must be approved by an admin. The costs for the plane tickets is $15,000 and information is the same as the vacation information listed above. *30 days begins from date of purchase of ticket and can NOT be back dated. Also "vacation" last a total of 30 days regardless of how many rps were actually held, i.e. 30 days/1 month not 30 rps. Player is also not eligible for any other vacation options after the 30 days/1 month is up, for three months.

Fugitive Flights:

If your character wishes to take a fugitive flight he must make contact with agency and exchange money, they will then escort you to airport/plane.

Fugitive option #1

Contact the Merryweather Agency by going to their HQ to make arrangements, with or without money. With money you leave immediately. Without money, you can make a plan and give the money at the time of flight. Once paid, you will then be escorted to Sandy Shores Airfield and put in the cargo hold of a Titan/Miljet.
The ticket cost is $1,000,000. Although, it is cheaper but there is more risk.
You then fly out and leave the session immediately. (You may return with new/alternate character)
(You may have a 2nd character, fugitive character is then "archived" for a later date)

Fugitive Option #2

Contact The Professionals to set up a rendezvous at the Mile High Club to make arrangements, with or without money. With money you leave immediately. Without money, you can make a plan and give the money at the time of flight. Once paid, you will then be escorted to the LS International Airport or Sandy Shores Airfield and board a private jet or a Vestra. The ticket cost is $5,000,000. Although it is more expensive it is less of a risk.
You then fly out and leave the session immediately. (You may return with new/alternate character)
(You may have a 2nd character, fugitive character is then "archived" for a later date.)

*Keep in mind if choosing either of the fugitive options there is great risk of being stopped, detained, deal cancellation due to no show or flight plans(i.e. airport owner denies take-off or landing), and disruptions causing delays or plane itself to crash.

**You cannot be extradited, or be deported- However, you will be considered an illegal immigrant, with no right to reside in the country and no right to work there.

***If Airport/s are owned, owner gets 10% of the ticket. Owner can also accept or deny landing and/or take-offs.
